MosterWynne's team interviewed each other regarding our creative pursuits and talked about how our varied experiences and passion applies in service to our clients. Shari is passionate about helping people achieve their goals. She is proud of being a business owner and manager, and she understands it is difficult to put together all of the planning for the future of the business while being so busy with everyday activities. Charlie is motivated by his responsibility to offer dedicated and relevant legal/business services to entrepreneurs. In his view, it is tough to truly serve entrepreneurs unless you are one. As a third-generation entrepreneur, he has come to learn that business owners are a special breed and share a need for independence, risk taking, and measurable success. Rick enjoys helping clients solve their complex issues. He also appreciates the opportunity to play a key role in the growth and development of MosterWynne. Rick is passionate about finding the right way to serve each client situation and has an unwavering standard for fairness. Matt enjoys meeting and working with our creative inventor clients and the challenge of translating their creativity into formal language that can produce and support their company's revenue creation. He also enjoys helping find the business case for a particular technology, as well as making persuasive legal arguments in his dealings with the Patent and Trademark Office. As a litigator, Melanie is passionate about helping clients navigate through a frustrating process in which they feel they have little control. She loves empowering clients in this process. Adam enjoys helping clients realize what a tremendous asset the law can be if used proactively. He is fond of saying that the law is a “backstage pass to business” where you get to help clients identify and learn from what works and what doesn’t for other companies of all shapes and sizes. Sheryl is a business owner with her husband and had her own consulting firm when she joined MosterWynne. She is passionate about finding creative solutions for our clients because she knows from personal experience how important financial planning is to managing growth. John is passionate about leaving things better than he finds them. This philosophy applies to all aspects of his life, not just work. When John comes into an organization he aims to streamline and systematically organize it in order to produce a more effective and productive environment. Dave is passionate about providing what he considers the lost art of personalized service to our clients and attorneys. Too often the simple nuances of courtesy, respect and attention to detail are seemingly bygone characteristics. Working in the legal profession allows Dave to apply his talents and perspective where they are needed and appreciated.

We hire people with diverse legal and business backgrounds – entrepreneurs and business professionals – because we understand through personal experience what it means to connect our legal advice to business solutions. We have found it difficult to re-tool someone if they do not understand the convergence of creativity, the law and business.
