Charles A. Moster, the Senior Partner of the Firm, is a third generation entrepreneur. As an attorney he has devoted his practice to the representation of plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial business transactions and in litigation. As Senior Partner, he oversees and is involved with all of the firm's legal work in order to advocate the strategic use of risk management planning and assessments. This focus helps clients avoid unnecessary litigation and helps guide decision-making. Mr. Moster is an accomplished advisor and tactician with over 21 years of experience balancing strategic objectives with finite financial resources and stringent corporate requirements. Since his tenure with the General Counsel Office of the Commerce Department he has been involved in 100's of cases and has represented acquisition and investment entities, software and hardware technology companies, government municipalities and agencies, construction companies, packaged goods and manufacturing companies, commercial and residential development firms, architects, restaurant and hospitality firms, management companies, e-commerce businesses and other clients throughout the country and the world. Mr. Moster spent the first half of his career as a litigation attorney for the United States Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. and had the privilege of representing the government in numerous precedent setting cases including the LTV Steel case in New York and the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel case in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Charles also served as a litigating attorney for the Economic Development Administration where he was charged with the liquidation of a government loan portfolio in excess of $800 million dollars. Mr. Moster has also represented lenders and lessors in many of the largest cases litigated in the United States, including Macy's, Jamesway, F & M Drugstores, MJDesigns, and most recently Saks Inc. Mr. Moster is a recipient of the Texas Bar Foundation Fellowship (2000) and of the U.S. Department of Treasury Certificate of Award for Distinction in Credit Management (1989), one of the highest awards offered by the federal government, in honor of his successful disposition of assets in excess of half a billion dollars. Mr. Moster received his Juris Doctorate from Temple University (1984), and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University (1977) and a Master of Arts degree from San Diego State University (1980). He is admitted to practice law in Texas and the following federal courts: Arkansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
